Clinical Assistant/physician Extender

We are seeking a highly motivated Medical Graduate _(FMG or US Grad)_ to join our dynamic medical team as a Physician Extender. Our practice specializes in Neurology, Physical Medicine, and Orthopedics, with multiple locations across Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Staten Island and Long Island. This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity for career development and professional growth.

**About the Job**:
**Specifics**:

- ** Schedule**: 4 days a week (Monday to Friday), 9 AM - 6 PM
- ** Locations**: Must be able to cover clinics in Long Island, Brooklyn, Staten Island, and Bronx

**Responsibilities**:

- See consults and follow-ups
- Obtain and record patient medical histories, test results, and other information for medical records, maintaining strict confidentiality
- Coordinate daily administrative activities, including completing paperwork requested by insurance or patients’ workplaces
- Finish all clinical notes with accuracy
- Assist with patient call backs and developing treatment plans

**Requirements**:

- Highly motivated with a willingness to learn
- Speed and accuracy in documentation and history taking
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent writing skills
- Comfortable with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Fluency in English
- Prior experience in taking medical histories, scribing encounters, and completing medical documentation is preferred
- Must be legally allowed to work in New York State (e.g., active work visa, or US citizen)
