Hospital Operator, Per Diem

Position Highlights:

- Position: Hospital Operator - Per Diem
- Location: Skokie, IL/Evanston, IL
- Per Diem (as needed)
- Hours: Overnight Thursdays 9:00pm - 7:30am, As Department Needs, Rotating Holidays 3 on, 3 off
- Required Travel: Evanston Hospital/Skokie Hospital

What you will do:

- Professionally answer and process incoming telephone calls timely and accurately
- Respond and accurately process emergency notification requests including overhead announcements, pager notifications and escalation
- Documentation of daily activities in shift reports

What you will need:

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience: Six months’ experience as a telephone operator on a multi-function switchboard is preferred
- Unique or Preferred Skills: Experience in a hospital or health care related setting preferred
