As the Information Technology Customer Support Supervisor, you'll spearhead the implementation of our Customer Support Services strategy, taking charge of the IT Help Desk to deliver world-class desktop support to our City staff.
Reporting directly to the Information Technology Infrastructure Manager, you'll lead a dedicated team of technical staff committed to providing top-notch end-user support services across our organization. **POSITION QUALIFICATIONS**:
**WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO QUALIFY**
A combination of education, experience, and training equivalent to completion of high school supplemented by **two years** of college level coursework in information/computer science or a related field OR, completion of a specialized training program in information/computer science are required, including
**three years **of increasingly responsible information services and computer support experience equivalent to an Information Technology Customer Support Technician II with the City of Ventura.
Supervisory/lead worker experience is highly desirable.
**Certificate**:Possession of relevant and current information services industry recognized certifications, such as ITIL, Comp TIA A+, COMP TIA Network+, Comp TIA Security+, MCSA, and MCSE are desirable.
**License**: Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid California driver license.
