**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. **Payroll Processing**:

- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees, including calculating wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions accurately.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws.
- Process payroll adjustments, including new hires, terminations, promotions, and salary changes.
- Validate timekeeping records and resolve discrepancies.

**2. **Benefits Administration**:

- Administer employee benefits related to payroll, including health insurance, retirement plans, and flexible spending accounts.
- Coordinate with HR to ensure accurate deduction and reporting of benefits.
- Stay updated on changes in benefit plans and regulations.

**3. **Reporting and Record-Keeping**:

- Generate payroll reports for management, accounting, and auditing purposes.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and employee information.

**4. **Process Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency.
- Implement best practices and automation to enhance payroll operations.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in payroll processing.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a payroll specialist or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
