Auto Body Shop Estimator

Responsibilities:

- Assess and estimate the cost of repairs for damaged vehicles in the body shop
- Collaborate with customers and insurance companies to explain repair estimates and obtain approval
- Create detailed repair plans and communicate them to the technicians
- Order necessary parts and materials for repairs
- Monitor the progress of repairs and ensure they are completed within the estimated time frame
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure repairs meet industry standards
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or questions

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of service writing and auto body repair techniques
- Proficiency in brake repair and vehicle maintenance
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, insurance companies, and technicians
- Experience in automotive service or auto service management is preferred
- Ability to upsell additional services or repairs when appropriate
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple repair projects simultaneously

Pay: $94,272.00 - $200,000.00 per year
