**Position Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Accompany the following Ensembles during class, rehearsals, concerts and festivals.
- Upper School Chorus
- Upper School Swing Choir
- Middle School Chorus
- Accompany the following Ensembles during final rehearsals, concerts and festivals.
- Lower School Choirs (grades 4, 5, 6)
- Wind and String Ensembles
- Convocation and Graduation/Commencement
- Musical (every other year)
- Some evening and weekend hours required
- Additional duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- In-depth experience accompanying choral ensembles grades 4-12.
- Versatile in performing different styles and genres - improvisation is a plus.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, parents, staff and colleagues.
- Ability to plan and manage resources effectively to support teaching, learning and performance preparation.
- Desire to pursue ongoing professional development, making the most of the opportunities both within and outside the school to improve teaching and to demonstrate for the students the value of lifelong learning.
- Demonstrated high levels of enthusiasm for teaching and learning, and striving to engender a joy of learning in all students.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other department teachers on curriculum development and concert/programming selection and preparation.
