The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) provides mental health, substance use, and health and behavioral screening, assessment, and intervention. The LCSW works under the direction and supervision of the CMO. - Master’s degree in social work and licensed as a Clinical Social Worker by the State of Maine required.
- Excellent working knowledge of behavioral medicine and evidence-based treatments for medical and mental health conditions.
- High level of comfort in working with primary care medical providers using a consultative style.
- Age-based competency for children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, and disability-based competency for chemical dependency required.
- Competence in emergency assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of various psychiatric/chemical dependencies to adequately meet position requirements.
