**ZB Importing carries a family-like culture inside and out. We care about our employees as we do every aspect of our business. We are currently in a transition period of rapid growth, and we are seeking a seasoned Inventory Clerk to help us fuel our headway**
- The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate records of inventory, managing stock levels, and ensuring that inventory is organized and accounted for. This role involves working closely with the warehouse team, conducting regular stock audits, and using WMS software to track and report on inventory levels.

**Essential Role Functions**
- Perform counts and ensure all inventory is accounted for and reported according to company policy
- Maintain adequate inventory levels to meet customer demand
- Check in driver returns upon route completion
- Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventory
- Assess inventory output on a daily, weekly or monthly basis to identify trends in productivity
- Reconciles physical and financial inventories in WMS
- Place and receive orders in a timely and accurate manner
- File claims when defective products are discovered upon receiving from vendors
- Coordinate with customer service and sales departments on out of stocks
- Check date-sensitive products for expiration and facilitate removal or transfer of product as needed
- Check outbound orders for order selector accuracy
- Make sure pick aisles are clean and organized after each shift

**Skills, Physical Requirements, and Working Conditions**:

- Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy in counting product with multiple layers and varying cases per layer
- Possess excellent math skills, figure aptitude and 10-key calculator skills
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk to various locations within the warehouse facility, move rapidly, stoop, and twist/turn frequently.
- Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination are necessary
- Some lifting of product cases required (up to 50lbs)
- Temperatures in the warehouse may vary between -5 to 70 degrees.
- Stamina for work in a warehouse environment
- Work is performed under typical warehouse conditions. Potential hazards exist regarding machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, mechanized systems, movement of tractors and trailers, etc. Work environment is fast paced

**Qualifications**:

- 2-3 years experience in Inventory and Warehouse setting or similar role
- Cognitive thinking skills
- Forklift certified preferred
- Computer skills
- Able to meet physical demands

**Schedule**
- Shift: Day shift - Monday to Friday
- Hours 7am-4pm
- Work setting: Warehouse In-person
- Work Location: 15151 West Dr, Houston, TX 77053
