Server/barista

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Server/Barista to join our team. As a Server/Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers by preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages and food items. If you have a passion for coffee, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent customer service skills, we would love to hear from you.

**Duties**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, such as lattes, cappuccinos, and espressos
- Take customer orders and accurately enter them into the POS system
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions with accuracy
- Assist customers in selecting food items from the menu
- Prepare and serve food items, such as fruit bowls and pastries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Follow all food safety guidelines and ensure proper storage of food items
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints
- Upsell additional products or specials to customers

**Skills**:

- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products
- Knowledge of different coffee brewing methods and techniques
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and handling cash transactions
- Experience working in a fast-paced food service environment
- Familiarity with POS systems, preferably Toast POS
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Understanding of food safety regulations and guidelines
