If so, we are looking for you to join our team as a **Maintenance Technician** at our 604 unit property in **Far Rockaway, NY.**

**Compensation**:

- $30.68 / hour
- Local 32BJ Union Benefits and Paid Time Off

**WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING AS A MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN**
- Perform essential work to keep our properties in great shape
- Complete service requests in a timely manner, interact with residents, and keep your property’s systems in good working order
- Coordinate completion of resident and management service requests in a timely manner.
- Prepare vacant units to occupancy standard within established time frame.
- Inspect property mechanical systems and grounds; immediately address safety issues with management.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance activities in partnership with supervisor.
- Partner with Maintenance Supervisor to prepare site for inspections.
- Maintain workplace safety policies and standards, including current COVID-19 standards.
- Rotating on-call responsibility for emergency maintenance repairs.

Qualifications:

- You have at least 2 years of maintenance/facilities experience with affordable housing experience preferred
- You’re able to **work our emergency on-call rotation as needed and can lift up to 50 lbs **and stand for an 8-hour shift.
