Middle School Math Title I Tutor

**Job Title**:.55 Middle School Math Title I Tutor (SY 24-25)
**Position Type**: Part-time/.55 FTE
**Hours Per Week**: 4 days a week and will be 22 hours per week
**Rate of Pay**: $35.00 per hour
**Reports to**: Math/Science Coordinator
**Location**: Watertown Middle School
**Summary**:
The tutor will work with classroom teachers to identify students who require substantial intervention in Math. The tutor will work with these students primarily in a push-in model for the purpose of small group and targeted assistance aligned with the Math curriculum. This is a Part-Time position 22 hours per week.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
The essential functions or duties listed below are illustrations of the type of work that is performed and is not an exhaustive list of the duties performed for by this position. **Responsibilities**:
- Complete the required paperwork for the strategies/interventions as outlined in Title I regulations
- Work with the principal and classroom teachers to identify potential students for assistance/ intervention using objective criteria
- Teach multiple small intervention groups.
- Progress monitor and analyze student data
**Qualifications and Skills**:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. The Superintendent may waive or modify the qualification requirements. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
- Demonstrated ability to implement interventions in Math programs and to provide support to at-risk students
- Licensure by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as an Elementary Teacher
