**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and perform nursing duties and procedures for the comfort and well-being of individuals.
- Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and healthcare teams.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitoring individuals' reactions and responding promptly to any adverse events.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with licensing standards and regulations.
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers of individuals.
- Participate in in-service training, departmental meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Promote a safe and pleasant environment for individuals and staff.

**Qualifications**:

- Current State of Illinois License in good standing, Registered Nurse.
- CPR certification.
- Ability to intervene physically in behavioral and health-related crises.
- Must pass background check in accordance with DCFS standards.
