IT Support Specialist

Description:
The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting services to employees across all locations. This position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Dynamics ERP, and Microsoft Intune, with a focus on maintaining high service levels for both Windows and some MacOS users. The IT Specialist will manage daily system administration tasks, support office equipment, and ensure seamless IT operations.
**PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide first-line support to employees for all IT-related concerns and technical issues.
- Onboarding/Offboarding users.
- Maintain and administer helpdesk ticketing system.
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
- Setup, install, and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks, responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
- Coordinate hardware and software additions, moves, upgrades for all users, as needed.
- Maintain Microsoft Intune for efficient management of mobile devices and operational technology.
- Document IT support tasks, solutions, and processes for internal knowledge base.
- Educate staff on IT systems and security best practices.
- Provide support with selection and procurement of IT services.
- Assist with IT budgeting for IT services/delivery systems.
- Approve IT expenditures and validation of monthly KPI’s.
**Requirements**:
- Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent specific related experience.
- 2-3 years experience in a helpdesk technician, support, specialist or similar role.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
- Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex IT concepts in simple terms.
- Intermediate familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Office 365, Dynamics ERP, Microsoft Intune, Freshworks/Jira or similar systems.
- Excellent ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems.
- Experience with RingCentral, Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O cloud solution.
- Multilingual proficiency (Spanish preferred) is advantageous for effective communication with staff across locations.
