Charcuterie Associate

Nello's Specialty Meats, a Federally Inspected (USDA) meat shop specializing in German and Italian Specialty Meats, including Artisan Sausages and Charcuterie, is searching for a hard-working, self-motivated, detail-oriented person to join our team. Our owner has been taught by a German Wurstmacher, using techniques and ingredients from the Old World, and continues this tradition to the present day.

We are currently hiring _**ONE applicant**_. We are willing to train responsible and dedicated individuals that have a positive attitude and that work well with others in an excellent work environment.

Qualifications include:
1. A verifiable completed High School Diploma or GED.

2. Applicants must have their own transportation to/from work.

3. Must be capable of carrying out work orders/instructions in accordance with established procedures.

4. Capable of handling multiple functions in an orderly, precise manner with little supervision.

5. Motivation and work ethic are key characteristics we look for.

6. Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds by utilizing safe lifting techniques.

7. Must be able to work in a cold storage environment at times and person will be working with cultured molds (not harmful).

8. Must follow safety instructions and guidelines at all times.

10. Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

11. Demonstrate good interpersonal and organizational skills and be a team player.

12. Basic knowledge of personal computers.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
