**J**ob Title**:Part Time Accounting Clerk I**

**Job Summary**: This position aids in the execution of a variety of accounting office tasks for a contractor's accounting department. Tasks may include processing various types of accounts payable including credit card transactions, reviewing job costs against purchase records, communications with vendors and/or subcontractors. Additional tasks will include filing, and spreadsheet preparation. Occasional support of billing functions. 16 to 20 hrs. per week across 3 or more days weekly. This position reports to the Financial Controller.

**Essential Functions and Responsibilities**:

- Collect, prepare, and enter Credit Card vouchers & receipts into accounting software, verifying necessary approvals have been obtained.
- Assist with statement review for vendors at month end.
- Assist in entry of job invoices.
- Collect job closing data and update relevant database.
- Scan & update vendor W-9's and insurance COI's and update as needed.
- Serve as back up for additional AP functions including collection and routing of incoming AP invoices, summarizing invoice cost details, and reviewing job costs for completeness.
- Filing, organizing, and archiving of records as directed.
- Perform additional duties as necessary to support the operation of the accounting department.

- Ability to operate a keyboard, telephone, and other standard office equipment.
- Occasionally lifts to 10 lbs.
