We are looking for an experienced Salon Assistant who isn't afraid to jump right in and ideally is looking to advance to a hairstylist and grow in the salon **(EXPERIENCE IS A MUST & we are seeking someone with weekend availability)**. We need someone who can be a friendly face to clients and staff alike. We’re looking for someone who is able to multitask & is flexible--no two days are ever the same here.
Responsibilities will include:
- Shampooing clients
- Providing assistance to owners (stocking products, running salon errands, cleaning the salon at end of night, etc.)
- Basic cleaning/maintenance of the salon (sweeping, dusting, etc.)
- Blow drying clients
ABOUT US:
We are an established salon located in the Upper East Side neighborhood of NYC. Our goal is to make our clients feel at home in our salon by offering unmatched customer service in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
