- CDL - _encouraged to obtain during program_

**_How SMC Apprenticeship Works_**
- Safety Marking’s Apprentice Program is based on the traditional apprenticeship model. Apprentices are hired without prior experience and given the opportunity to _**_earn and learn_**_. Our program encompasses: _
- _a total of 6000 hours of On-The-Job Training (OJT)_
- _a minimum of 100 hrs. of Related Instruction per year at on-site training facility_
- _a hybrid-curriculum of Operational Excellence, Application-Specific Equipment, and Workplace Professionalism training coursework_
- _a graduated pay-scale with 10% increases after each 1500 hrs. of OJT_
