- Time _**_Veterinary Technician_**_ to join our_**_ _**_Ophthalmology_**_ team_

A skilled **Veterinary Ophthalmic Technician** is a crucial component to the success of any ophthalmology practice, as they directly affect the ophthalmologist's ability to diagnose and treat ocular disease.

Shift Details = Monday - Friday, NO weekends or overnights.

**Responsibilities and Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 3 years of technical experience
- Technical skill set such as restraint, phlebotomy, catheter placement and general nursing care experience is needed
- Preference given to applicants with advanced skill sets which include Schirmer tear tests, tonometry, ocular ultrasounds, electroretinograms, and the use of paralytics
- Anesthesia monitoring, perform sterile scrub, assist doctors throughout a variety of surgical procedures
- Ability to lift and restrain patients up to 50lbs
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community
- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Self-motivated with a passion for veterinary medicine
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast
