**Schedule**:Monday to Saturday, with extended hours until 7 pm from Monday to Thursday, and finishing at 5 pm on Fridays, and 4 pm on Saturdays.

**Admissions Advisor**

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

The Admissions Advisor plays a key role in bringing new students into our career programs and providing them with the opportunity to achieve their goals. The Admissions Advisor will assist qualified potential students through the admissions process in an efficient, professional, and supportive manner. This position reports to the Director of Student Affairs.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

1. The Admissions Advisor advises to students undergoing the Admissions process and assist in the collection of the Admissions documents that are required for the start of the first term.

3. The Admissions Advisor arranges and conducts program information sessions.

4. The Admissions Advisor communicates with prospective and current students throughout the admissions process and provides the best customer service.

5. The Admissions Advisor will evaluate each student according to his/her qualification, commitments, motivations, needs, interests, and desires.

6. The Admissions Advisor must have adequate knowledge of all the programs and courses being offered by Casa Loma College and is also mandated to keep up with the current program changes.

7. The Admissions Advisor must maintain communication with the other departments such as Academic Departments, Registrar, and Financial Aid to enhance the process of Admissions and establish positive team relationship between departments.

8. The Admissions Advisor will organize recruiting events and represent the college at high school career fairs, college fairs and other promotional opportunities.

9. The Admissions Advisor must be able to establish professional relationships with student and other employees, produce personal developed referrals.

10. The Admissions Advisor must be able to attend trainings and seminars for professional development and self-improvement.

11. It is the role of the Admissions Advisor to record all activities regularly and accurately into the database management system. The Admissions Advisor must ensure that students records are correctly created during the Admission Process and are passed on to the appropriate departments.

12. It is the responsibility of the Admissions Advisor to be knowledgeable and adhere to all appropriate college and state Admissions policies. It is also imperative that he works ethically and always maintain integrity to be able to execute the requirements of the admissions department. Must be able to carry out the core values of Casa Loma College and contribute respect and positive team spirit.

**Qualifications Education/Experience**
- Minimum of Associate’s degree
- 2-3 years of successful experience in admissions, sales, marketing, public relations, recruitment, or another related field.
- Experience in relationship building, coordinating events, interviewing and customer service.
