**TITLE: EDUCATIONAL DIAGNOSTICIAN**

**QUALIFICATIONS**: Master’s degree in special education, educational psychology, or related discipline
- Valid Virginia Post Graduate Professional License with one or more special education endorsements or school psychology endorsement
- Personal characteristics necessary for working successfully with students, staff members, administrators, and parents.
- A minimum of three years direct service implementing Individual Education Programs (IEPs) or conducting educational assessments.
- Training in test administration and interpretation of test results.
- Ability to develop effective instructional recommendations based on test results and curriculum based information.

**REPORTS TO**: Director of Office of Support Services

**TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT**:

- 11-month contract, OSS salary schedule (C19) as approved by the school board.
- Workday 8:00am-4:00pm (7 hour work day - 220 Days) VRS, 11 days sick leave and 3 personal business days. See Division Calendar for Holidays including two weeks Winter Break & one week Spring Break._
- (C19 Classification Range $60,556 - $102,945) _**_Hiring Range Step 1 - $60,556 to Step 21 - $82,651_**
