**Responsibilities**

Applies Dignity Health Core Values to the performance of every job duty. These Values include Dignity Collaboration Justice Stewardship and Excellence. Under the direction of an RN performing basic nursing care according to established hospital policies and procedures.

**Qualifications**
**Experience**

Minimum 6 months recent acute care experience as a hospital attendant.

**Education**

Graduate of an accredited Certified Nurse Assistant Program

**Licensure**

C.N.A. License-CT NA

Must have American Heart Association BLS certification-CT CPRBLS

**Special Skills**

Experience in care of the aged. Basic knowledge of medical terminology. Basic knowledge of transport techniques. Complete annual safety training. Complete and maintain department specific training. Ability to read and speak English clearly and be understood. Demonstrated skill in EKG interpretation (85% score obtained on hospital test). Must have leadership ability and good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to read and speak English clearly and be understood.

**Pay Range**
$20.87 - $24.15 /hour
