**About the Accounting Implementation Specialist Role**

The Implementation Specialist role is responsible for managing the onboarding and early
- stage support for new clients and for facilitating a smooth transition to the long-term Outsourcing Advisory and Accounting Team.

The Implementation Specialist has a strong knowledge of the general ledger systems that the firm has identified as the top accounting systems (i.e., Sage Intacct, QBO, etc.).

**_ Essential Responsibilities:_**
- Orchestrates and implements the new client process
- Serves as implementation lead and contact for the client and outsourcing team within the first 90 days of onboarding a client or existing client
- Telephone, video conference and live consultations with clients to review Internal Management Reports and other information during the implementation period
- Develops and strengthens long-term relationships with senior client management and peer client levels
- Plans, organizes and controls multiple responsibilities and resources to achieve assignment objectives
- Manages the assignment budget and profitability in their area of responsibility
- Identifies client needs/opportunities to sell additional value-added services
- Leverages commercial and market knowledge to anticipate client needs for new/additional services
- Development of functional specialization and/or industry expertise
- Actively pursues self-development opportunities in line with the competency model

**_ To be successful in this role, you will bring with you:_**
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Experience with QuickBooks Online required
- Strong innovative and streamlined approach to systems and processes/procedures
- Prior bookkeeping experience required that involved processing of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll.
- Experience working in a paperless environment strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Team player with a positive can-do approach
- A general and growing knowledge of firm products and services in the practice area, and a general knowledge of products and services in other practice areas
