SMX is seeking a highly motivated Helpdesk Technician with demonstrated proficiency in customer service and support.

**This position requires the ability to obtain a DoD secret security clearance which requires US citizenship for work on a DoD contract.**

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
- Provides first level technical support for personnel in various locations who have NMCI assets and peripherals
- Generates, monitors, and tracks Move-Add-Change (MAC) requests for funded services
- Addresses, escalates and/or tracks local technical issues and remediation
- Facilitates collection of functional requirements from staff and end-users
- Follows Configuration Management (CM) processes and utilization of tools identified
- Submits Account buildouts for customers

**Required Skill & Experience**
- Required clearance: Secret or the ability to obtain
- Proficient with Windows Operating Systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Two years of customer service experience

**Desired Skills & Experience**
- Proficient user of NET and HPSM
- Knowledge of NMCI
- General IT certifications
- IT college credits especially AA or BS or BA degrees
