Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Investigator to join our team. As an Investigator, you will be responsible for conducting thorough investigations to prevent and detect fraud, gather evidence, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
**Duties**:
- Conduct investigations into suspected fraudulent activities, including but not limited to financial fraud, insurance fraud, or employee misconduct
- Collect and analyze data from various sources to identify patterns or irregularities
- Conduct interviews with witnesses, victims, and suspects to gather information and evidence
- Prepare detailed reports documenting findings, evidence, and recommendations
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies or legal professionals as needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to investigations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or related field preferred
- Proven experience in conducting investigations or related work experience
- Strong knowledge of fraud prevention and detection techniques
- Excellent report writing skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Proficient in conducting research using various tools and databases
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data effectively
- Experience with surveillance techniques is a plus
- Strong ethical standards and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
