Make a difference in your community, be part of the hospice team, and have a flexible volunteer schedule. One hour a week can make a big difference to someone nearing the end of life_**

Volunteers may engage in conversation, read to a patient, look at pictures together, share music or videos on their phones, provide a compassionate presence or other activities._**

Volunteers are Needed in the Bloomfield area._**

**Requirements**:

- **18 years old +**:

- **Able to commit for one year to our program**:

- **Ability to listen deeply, interest in and compassion for others, good boundaries and self care, meet people where they’re at in energy and tone**:

- **Online training takes ~ 20 hours and is personally enriching, focusing on personal death awareness and hospice philosophy**:

- **No close death in the last year
