**Position Description**:
Excellence Contractors is seeking a Roofing Estimator. Your primary function is to provide and lead full-service estimating for large-scale and complex projects. Projects will be varied and span multiple types of roofing contracts. We will provide you with a vehicle, phone, and laptop. You will build customer relationships and uphold our standards for excellent customer service. Exemplifying honesty, integrity, and professionalism to all customers and employees.

**Knowledge & Skills**:
- Versatile and able to get along with all types of people
- Able to ask good questions and provide solutions based on what you learn
- Strong computer skills
- Past experience using a CRM preferred
- Some exterior construction knowledge, a bonus
**Responsibilities include**: Prepare work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. Review and utilize historical data from previous P.O.s, subcontracts, productivity and other reports as needed to assess unit and labor calculations. Identify labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. Compute costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements. Attend all pertinent pre-bid meetings and review proposals and specifications to determine the scope of work and estimate. Track and manage awarded contracts including estimating change orders, additions, credits, materials, and more. Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Manage and maintain working documents and cost database on regular basis to support estimate figures. Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing technical publications. Design, produce and finalize Roof CAD drawings and plans. Conduct roof surveys and meet with clients to assess requirements, take measurements, photos, and collect data to be used in the plan. Contribute to team effort and work with other departments to assess rates to be used in estimates. Assist contracting department for preparation of inquiries, final bids, etc. Provide technical support and guidance to personnel as required. Must follow all OSHA safety rules and regulations.
**Qualifications**:25 years of age or older. Bachelor's Degree in Construction Science and Management or equivalent. Bi-Lingual Spanish/English preferred. Strong proactive communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively are critical. Basic understanding of TPO roofing systems - Required Understanding of A&G, EPDM, IRMA, PVC, Ballast Able to lift up to 50 lbs. Work in outdoor weather conditions. Safely ascend/descend a ladder frequently; minimum heights of 25 feet Have reliable transportation and own tools fit for many job types. Authorized to work in the United States Must pass a pre-employment drug test and/or background check. Valid Driver's License Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency to navigate tablet-based technology.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
