**Position Summary**:

- This recruitment is for a Temporary Recreation Supervisor position through UCI's internal temporary staffing service. This position is based out of the UC Irvine Campus’s Anteater Recreation Center (ARC).
- Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Supervise recreation program leaders, instructors, and camp counselors.
- Provide first aid and emergency care as necessary.
- Supervise unit operations to ensure compliance with departmental or organizational polices, procedures, and defined internal controls.
- Plan, organize, and implement youth camp recreational programs.
- Serve as point of contact between campus recreation and parents of camp participants.
- Oversee inventory, storage, budget, and maintenance of equipment.

**Compensation Range**:

- $22.75/hour (within full range of $22.75 - $30.27/hour).

**Required**:

- Experience working with children.
- 1-2 years’ experience in recreational and facility supervision.
- CPR certification and First Aid training
- Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.

**TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT**
- The majority of our temporary positions are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. We also have occasional part-time, weekend, and evening hours available, depending on the assignment.
