**Theatre and Acting Instructor - Afterschool**

We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Afterschool Theatre and Acting Instructor to join our team. This role involves introducing **elementary and middle school students** to the exciting world of theatre and acting. The instructor will be responsible for developing a fun and engaging program that ignites students' interest in the arts, encourages their creativity, and helps them develop basic acting skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and implement a beginner-friendly theatre curriculum suitable for elementary and middle school students.
- Organize simple performances and drama activities that allow students to explore various roles and aspects of theatre production.
- Encourage creativity and expression in students through improvisation, storytelling, and character development exercises.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that nurtures students’ confidence and teamwork skills.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in theatre arts, drama education, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for teaching young children.
- Ability to design age-appropriate, educational, and engaging activities.
- Patience and flexibility to work effectively with young students from diverse backgrounds.
- Must have availability 2 pm - 5 pm

**Working Hours**:

- Classes will meet twice a week for 1 hour each.

Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 2 per week
