Our Infrastructure team has an immediate need for a Project Manager to focus on our Large Diameter Waterline projects. In this role as the project management lead, you will be working with and managing a team of engineers and drafters on a variety of projects.
What you will do:
- Manage to project timelines and budget.
- Effectively communicate project information to clients, regulators, and key stakeholders.
- Develop relationships with clients; become trusted advisor.
- Work to resolve project needs.
- Lead effectively in a highly dynamic environment with competing priorities.
- Assume responsibility for the successful delivery of products and services within the department, and high satisfaction and performance of department employees.
- Establish and maintain a strong technical delivery model across all functions in the department that is agile to changing customer requirements.
- Establish strong relationship with key customers.
- Ensure successful delivery of high-quality products and services to customer on time and on budget.
- Ensure strong project management acumen throughout the department and contribute to that capability across the contract.

Relationship management both externally and internally is a mastered skillset.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required.
- PE license in Texas.
- 10+ years civil engineer experience required.
- Staff management experience.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of U.S. design codes and standards.
- Related local (Houston) experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Project management skills.
- Critical thinking skills.
- Complex data interpretation skills.
