Dietary Aide

**Shifts Available**:
1 PT position: Saturday & Sunday 12pm - 8pm

**Description**:
As a Dietary Aide, you'll play a vital role in our organization's mission by ensuring our Guests receive superior customer service. You'll assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in our dietary department while supporting the preparation and delivery of high-quality meals.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in meal and beverage preparation.
- Prepare trays according to dietary requirements promptly.
- Serve meals to Guests and staff with care and efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including table busing and dishwashing.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food items and equipment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
- Attend trainings to enhance QAPI understanding and implementation.
- Adhere to compliance standards and participate in scheduled trainings.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: One year of experience as a Dietary Aide.
- Preferred: Food Sanitation Certification.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift and move items weighing at least 20 pounds.
- Regular standing, walking, bending, and kneeling required.
- Visual acuity and depth perception necessary for job tasks

**Work Environment**:

- Health care setting with varying temperatures.
- Regular interaction with patients; may encounter contagious illnesses.
- Rotating shifts, including holidays and inclement weather.
