Job Summary

**Responsibilities**:
Provide Activities/ Responsibilities/ Essential Duties:
1. Assists, plans and implements safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)

2. Advises safety director on safety compliance concerns and preventative actions.

3. Plans and implements training for employees in work site safety practices.

4. Maintains safety files and records

5. Performs safety surveys and inspections, prepares written reports of findings and recommendations for corrective or preventive measures where indicated and follows up to ensure measures have been implemented.

6. Conducts post-accident investigation and prepares report identifying possible accident causes and hazards for use by company personnel and senior management.

7. Set up and conducts training.

8. Assists in the development, evaluation and upgrading of safety programs.

9. Assist and maintain environmental reports including Storm water permits.

10. Prefer experience in OSHA, MSHA, DOT and EPA regulatory requirements.

11. Excellent Computer, communication and training skills

12. Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested

13. Makes suggestions for improvements for future modifications and alterations to accommodate company growth.

14. All other duties as assigned

Additional Activities/ Responsibilities/ Duties:
15. Have the ability to analyze tasks with attention to detail and accuracy

16. Performs additional tasks as requested by management/supervisors

17. Must be able to travel overnight at least 30-50% of the time.

18. Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined by management.

19. Must be available and willing to work such weekends and holidays as the employer determines are necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.

Education/ Experience:
33. Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or three to five years minimum related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

34. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Physical Demands

39. Ability to communicate orally with management and other co-workers.

40. Ability to work outside in hot and cold weather.

41. Hearing and vision within normal ranges is helpful for normal conversations, to receive ordinary information, and to read plans/documents.

42. This is a part time traveling job and will require up to 50% travel.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
