The right Server uplifts the dining experience for our customers. We are looking for service oriented individuals who have the patience, personality and perseverance to thrive in this role.

**PAY RANGE FOR SERVER: $7/hour + Tips, with minimum of $15/hour**

- 12 Hour shifts, Minimum Required Hours per week: 42 Hours: 3.5 Days

**JOB PURPOSE**:
Servers are responsible for directly serving guest tables while also performing Runner and Busser functions. Servers are responsible for taking food and beverage orders while providing personalized, exemplary service for their assigned tables.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Greet and escort customers to their tables
- Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)
- Prepare tables by setting up silverware and glasses
- Offer menu recommendations upon request
- Suggestive-selling additional products when appropriate
- Take accurate food and drinks orders, using a POS ordering software, order slips or by memorization
- Check customers’ IDs to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
- Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff
- Serve food and drink orders
- Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems
- Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area
- Deliver checks and collect bill payments
- Carry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning
- Prepare food to-go and take-out
- Meet with restaurant staff to review daily specials and changes on the menu
- Follow all relevant health department regulations
- Provide excellent customer service to guests

**JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR SERVER**:

- We are searching for friendly, energetic, highly motivated people who will thrive in a fast-paced, team and family-oriented environment.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience as a Server in a fast paced, full-service or comparable restaurant
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Positive and Professional Attitude
- Education: High School; able to communicate (speak, read, and write) in English
- Hands-on experience with an ordering information system POS (Toast)
- Proficiency in Vietnamese is a plus
- Have flexibility and availability to work nights, holidays and/or weekends
- Strong organization and responds to clients inquiries in a timely, efficient, and friendly manner.
- Able to maintain a positive environment in stressful or difficult situations.
- Familiar with delivery platforms such as: DoorDash, Ubereats, and GrubHub.
