Phlebotomy Instructor

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

Will be energetic, have integrity, a positive mature attitude, be passionate in teaching and promoting student success as entry level students of varied educational backgrounds, demonstrates ethical work behavior; promotes a positive learning environment, be able to multitask. Has a willingness and ability to instruct and follow basic curriculum to support student learning and success.
- _**Be an Experienced Nationally Certified Phlebotomist Technician, RN, or Medical **_**Assistant: Experience in training and theory lecture desirable.**_
- Demonstrates good communication and professionalism, advanced knowledge regarding venipuncture standards.
- Has lecture knowledge utilizing computer power point, video, Skills with using Digital

Platforms/ Elsevier-Evolve, Google Classroom. Demonstrate confidence with the general Phlebotomy procedures along with special specimen procurement, anatomy and Lab processing on all populations.
- Ability to enforce **Lab Safety,** verify student attendance and prepare lessons and tests that are appropriate to student learning venipuncture skills.
- Offer constructive feedback to promote student learning.
- **Instructor Responsibilities**:_

▪ Document student grades on designated forms, communicate to coordinator any issues unfavorable to school values and mission. Document student evaluations grades attendance and progress

▪ Supervise and Instruct on all Live Venipuncture Clinics
▪ Communicate supply order needs to office support.
▪ Offer creative insight to promote team and program success
▪ Participate in business promotional and marketing projects.

**Job Type**: Contract

Pay: $18.19 - $21.90 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
