The Beachmont Elementary School is seeking an Elementary Math Coach. The primary role of the math coach is to work with teachers to improve mathematics instruction. Coaches often work alongside teachers around specific questions of practice to support next steps. Coaches can work with teachers to co-plan, co-teach lessons, re-design units, design and analyze assessments, etc. The math coach will work closely with the STEM director and building-based administrators to support the instructional and math-specific goals.

**Qualifications**:

- MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education licensure in Mathematic Grade 1-6 and SEI Endorsement.
- Excellent computer/technology skills with the ability to utilize various computer software and app programs.
- Committed to the vision of high expectations for achievement, equal access to high levels of instruction, the achievement of academic and linguistic proficiency for all students, and the closing of the opportunity gap
- A self-reflective, active learner capable of interactive dialogue with all members of the school community.
- Strong foundation in student-centered pedagogy and culturally responsive teaching practices.
