Janitor/maintenance

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Janitor/Building Maintenance person to take care of assist our building engineer at one of our mid-rise condo buildings in beautiful Evanston, IL.

**Tentative Schedule**: Sunday - Thursday, 9am - 5pm (Alternating on Call)

**Responsibilities**:

- Basic janitorial duties (Garbage removal, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet cleaning, pressure washing, etc.)
- Perform general building maintenance
- Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC maintenance
- Basic drywall repair and painting
- Pool monitoring and maintenance
- Snow removal
- Occasionally on call for emergencies

**Requirements**:

- Building maintenance and janitorial experience
- Previous building maintenance experience
- Basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC knowledge
- Basic building mechanical systems knowledge
- Drywall repair and painting skills
- CPO certified preferred (Will train if needed)
- Basic computer skills
- Reliable and takes pride in their work
- Able to work independently
- Has reliable transportation
- Able to respond to occasional 24/hr emergency calls if needed

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
