Kickboxing/les Mills Body Combat Instructor

**Duties**:

- Develop and deliver engaging and effective fitness classes.
- Create program designs tailored to meet the needs and goals of participants.
- Instruct participants on proper body mechanics and techniques to maximize workout efficiency.
- Record participant counts, distribute and collect program evaluations, report incidents.
- Implement fitness program based on the National Association and branch YMCA program standards.
- Follow and enforce safety standards and other policies and procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in teaching kickboxing or Les Mills Body Combat.
- Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology to ensure safe and effective workouts.
- Ability to adapt teaching styles to accommodate participants of all fitness levels.
- Excellent communication skills to motivate and engage class participants.
- Certification in relevant disciplines is preferred but not mandatory.

**Hiring Criteria**
The following are the minimum qualifications that an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position.

**Education & Certifications**:CPR and First Aid certification, specific formats will require certifications (Yoga, Pilates, Les Mills, Zumba, Cycle), SGX Spartan Coach Certification preferred.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 1 per week
