Laundry Aide

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Laundry Attendant to join our team. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that all facility linens and resident laundry is cleaned, laundered, and maintained to the highest standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron hotel linens and laundry
- Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines
- Inspect linens for stains or damages and report any issues to the supervisor
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
- Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of soiled linens
- Assist with inventory management by keeping track of linen stock levels
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow

**Skills**:

- Previous experience in a assisted living or similar is preferred
- Knowledge of proper laundry procedures and techniques
- Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality results
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines
- Good physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lift heavy loads if required

Please note that this position requires the ability to stand for long periods of time and perform physically demanding tasks.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
