The Production Control Demand Planner will perform a variety of business processes and tasks in support of production factories or programs. This individual will support the associated tasks listed below which are necessary to prevent a work stoppage or a slip in schedule, both of which would have a significant impact to the factory and/or program’s cost and schedule requirements. This position will also directly support CORE and other continuous improvements efforts.

**What You Will Do**
- Evaluate and coordinate personal training needs to better utilize metrics and increase system accuracy.
- Understand and improve process flows regarding the materials that are in progress, material availability, and potential production problems. Propose solutions to mitigate any work stoppage the factory teams may experience due to any slips in material orders.
- Controls on hand material through its life cycle; issue to work orders or projects, returns to suppliers, ships to customers, etc.
- Understanding supply/demand concepts within in an MRP system; releasing work orders and tracking material though the factory processes
- Coordinate factory commits based on MRP needs with factory OPS team.
- Coordinate interdependent activities with supply chain, manufacturing, quality and engineering.
- Participation with CORE teams/projects to accomplish continuous improvement opportunities.
- This position is an onsite role.

**Qualifications You Must Have**
- Typically requires a Bachelors degree and 2 years prior relevant experience.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience within Supply Chain/Production Control.
- Experience with PRISM SAP system
- Experience with 1.4 Explosives
- Experience with Government and Depot type processes
- Experience with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Excel experience with formulas, pivot tables etc.
