We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager for our Quality Assurance Proposal and Compliance Team located in Poway, CA. This position typically supports all areas of Quality, Operations and Flight Operations. This individual is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the operational aspects of multiple project(s). They also serve as a liaison between management, Quality Assurance organization, and Program Teams with engineering and business customer focus.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Under little to no supervision, complete newly assigned projects and tasks.
- Make decisions and act in the best interest of the program, Quality Assurance organization and participating functional organizations.
- Create and oversee project schedule, resources, timelines, and milestones from initiation to delivery.
- Manage the coordination of departmental and/or cross-functional teams.
- Support Quality Program Managers and team members, providing compliance support and direction when necessary.
- Interpret company-wide policies and procedures as they relate to Quality and supported programs.
- Establish procedures that support Compliance and Proposal team efforts.
- Develop, Deliver, and Present progress reports, metrics, proposals, and requirements documentation to internal and external audiences.
- Identify and assess project issues and develop solutions to meet productivity, quality and customer satisfaction goals, and business objectives.
- Coordinate multiple customer complaints and the action plans to rectify.
- Present to Sr. Leadership courses of actions and detailed plans for accomplishments.
- Work and manage multiple databases and business processes.
- Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Responsible for ensuring all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations are observed wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
- Responsible for ensuring work is accomplished in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and other regulations.
- Other duties as assigned or required.

**Job Qualifications**:

- Typically requires a Bachelors in Business Administration or related discipline and nine or more years of progressively complex experience in the project administration field with at least three of those years in project management. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
- Must demonstrate an extensive understanding of project management processes and procedures, planning and scheduling methods, and budget management as well as the ability to organize, schedule, and coordinate workloads to meet established milestones and budgets.
- Must posses the ability to identify issues, analyze solutions and data, read and understand corrective actions and develop solutions to a variety of non-routine matters of diverse scope and nature ensuring all actions are effective.
- Strong analytical, communication, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and lead in a team environment.
- The ability to read through a contract and understand requirements.
- Ability to understand databases to develop and implement process improvements and understand current tools and how they function.
- The ability to obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance is required.
