**SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team at our Los Angeles headquarters. As a CNC Programmer at Chrome Hearts, you will be responsible for programming and operating CNC machinery to create intricate and high-quality 3D parts using various materials, including composites, wood, steels, brass, and aluminum. You will work closely with our talented team to bring our artistic visions to life through precision manufacturing.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
- ** Programming Expertise**: Utilize Rhinoceros and Rhinocam software to program 3D parts for various materials. Training will be provided for software usage.
- ** Machine Operation**: Set up and operate 20 and 40 taper, Vertical Milling Stations (HAAS VF4SS, HAAS CM1, Minitech) when required.
- ** CNC Wood Router**: Program, set up, and operate a 4-spindle CNC Wood Router as necessary. Training will be provided.
- ** Material Preparation**: Prepare material blanks using manual machinery or CNC machines when required.
- ** Programming Directory**: Organize and maintain the programming directory for efficient workflow.
- ** Collaboration**: Work directly with set-up machinists to ensure smooth production processes.
- ** Design and Modeling**: Create surfaces and 3D models as needed for programming purposes. Also, design and manufacture custom fixturing as necessary.
- ** Documentation**: Generate set-up sheets and production paperwork for machinists and keep programming packages up to date for prototype and production projects.
- ** Material and Tooling**: Order materials and tooling as needed to support production.

**Requirements**:

- Comprehensive mastery of CNC G-Code.
- Proficient understanding of machining and programming practices relevant to CNC manufacturing.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a shop floor set-up machinist is preferred.
- Proficiency in programming intricate CNC cutter paths on 3D components using Rhinocam software (training provided).
- Competence in constructing 3D models using Rhinoceros 3D software for programming purposes (training provided).
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with a strong teamwork orientation.
- Fluent in English, both in speech and comprehension.
- The ability to set up and operate Vertical Milling Stations (HAAS, Minitech, Haas) is a valuable asset.
- Sound knowledge of computer software, including Outlook and Excel.
- Previous accredited training and experience as a Programmer/CNC Set-Up Machinist.
- Proficiency in creating programming documents, set-up sheets, and essential documentation for handoffs to set-up machinists.
- Capability to order materials and tooling as needed.
- Strong understanding of inspection equipment commonly used in machine shops.
- Ability to design intricate fixturing when required.
- General knowledge of Speeds and Feeds for various materials, including precious metals, ferrous and non-ferrous materials, composites, aluminum, steel, and wood.
