Lead Sorter

**Job Description**:
Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for a Lead Sorter at our Prince George's County MRF located in Capitol Heights, MD. This role serves as lead sorter on sorting lines at our materials recycling facility providing guidance, oversight, and training to MES and contractual employees. Ensures the successful sorting and segregation of recyclable items including aluminum, plastic, paper, cardboard, and steel. Provides feedback to supervisory personnel to ensure that work conforms to product and facility specifications.

Estimated Pay Range:

Minimum Requirements:

- High school diploma or GED equivalent, and one year of experience in environmental services, waste management, or a similar position. Possession of a valid driver's license with less than 5 points and recycling experience preferred.
