**About us**

Off the Leash Charters LLC is a small business in Cape Coral, FL. Our goal is to provide a fun atmosphere for floating private events for up to 30 guests.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and oversee the operation of the vessel
- Ensure the safety of passengers and crew members
- Navigate and operate the vessel in accordance with maritime regulations
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the crew
- Maintain and inspect all safety equipment on board
- Communicate with passengers, providing information and addressing any concerns
- Handle emergency situations, such as medical emergencies or equipment malfunctions

Qualifications:

- USCG Master Captains License
- CPR Certified
- FCC Marine Radio Operator Permit
- Captain will need to create a fun and safe atmosphere
- Captain should be personable and knowledgeable about local waters, wildlife and history

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a passenger vessel captain. Must be able to operate, dock, and navigate a 40' catamaran style tour boat.
- Strong knowledge of maritime regulations and safety procedures
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and address any mechanical issues that may arise during operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 12 per week

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
