**POSITION OVERVIEW**

The weekend **Life Skills Coach** position is a key role in which staff train students to live more independently. You will work in a college residential setting on weekends to teach real-life skills and promote a fun college experience for the students.

This position is a great way to join our mission without a huge commitment. Choose your schedule based on current shift availabilty, and enjoy the flexibility of working around your other life commitments. Work between 6-21 hours each weekend leaving your weekdays free

Shifts include:

- Friday **3p-9p**:

- Saturday **7a-2p** and/or **2p-9p**:

- Sunday **7a-2p** and/or **2p-9p**
- Coverage-only/substitute options also available. _

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Support students with IDD in a college residential setting at an 8:1 student-to-staff ratio
- Train students in cooking, cleaning, safety, time management, and social behavior to promote independent living
- Build positive working relationships with students to foster growth and development
- Complete communication and documentation to promote effective team collaboration
- Take students on off-campus activities to provide a great college experience

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
