Appliance Warehouse is a locally owned company, celebrating 50 years in business that sells new appliances (refrigerators, ranges, microwaves, washers, dryers, dishwashers, air conditioners and more). We are proud to offer GE, Maytag, Whirlpool, KitchenAid, Electrolux, Frigidaire and other great brands at our retail showroom in South Portland.

We are looking for a full time or part time salesperson to join our team.

Experience preferred, but not necessary, we will pay to train.

**Sales Representative Summary**:
The Sales Representative is responsible for providing our customers with information about the appliances during the purchase experience; helping the customer find the perfect fit for the customer’s appliance needs, scheduling deliveries, and follow up after the sale.

Ensuring the showroom merchandise is customer-ready, information is current, and fit for demonstration purposes.

Maintaining and building relationships with local builders and designers.

Other duties as assigned.

Outgoing personality with good customer service skills and can-do attitude.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Attention to detail and thrive on a job well done.

Travel requirements: Travel is not required, but we may have training opportunities that could require travel.

No high pressure cold calling. You will be in our retail showroom at our store in South Portland. Customers come to us.

Must be 18+ years old.

Must be reliable and dependable.

**Schedule**: To be determined, Full time would be 37-40 hours a week,

Part time would be 18 to 27 hours, to be determined.

Some Saturdays required. Minimum of one Saturday off per month. No Sundays, we are closed on Sundays.

Store Hours: Monday to Friday 9 am to 6 pm, Saturdays 9 am to 4 pm.

We are closed Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor day, New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter and every Sunday, so you wouldn’t be working those days.

**Job Type & Compensation**:
1st year anticipated earnings of $50K+,

Includes $41,600 Base Salary + Commission & Spiffs

Additional income through spiff programs

If you have appliance sales experience, we can discuss compensation based on experience.

Full Time Pay: $41,600.00 - $60,000.00 per year
