We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for a Production Supervisor within our Specialty Foam Business Unit** **to help support our Bedding** **business. **So, what will you be doing as a Production Supervisor?**
- Plan work schedules, assign duties, and ensure adequate staffing levels to maintain efficient operations
- Monitor workflow, address variations from production schedules, and coordinate with other supervisors
- Ensure employees have the necessary tools, training, and support to perform their jobs effectively
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and enforce safety policies and procedures
- Collaborate with workers and managers to solve work-related problems and improve processes
- Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and process orders to facilitate material flow
- Perform quality checks and ensure adherence to standards and specifications

**To be successful in this role, you’ll need**:

- High school diploma or GED required; college degree in a related field preferred
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting
- Strong knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and cost management
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and practices
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, order entry systems, and other relevant software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multi-tasking abilities
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety
