Overview:
We are seeking experienced Head Chef to join our team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing and agreed upon menu. This is a role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage the kitchen.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in planning and executing menus
- Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards
- Manage kitchen inventory and minimize food waste
- Lead by example the kitchen staff in food handling, preparation, and safety procedures
- Assist with customized menus for catering and special events
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Comply with health and safety regulations
**Skills**:
- Experience in food service and/or catering
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well within a team and independently
- Attention to detail to ensure standards on all menu items
- Knowledge of food service management principles and practices
We offer competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth within our restaurant.
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
