Marketing Analyst

JOB DUTIES
- Research, analysis, and reporting of market data to identify trends in products, delivery channels, best practices, and market preferences related to the financial services industry.
- Identify new market opportunities and evaluate market research, marketing campaigns and return on investment.
- Quantitative and qualitative review and reporting of member relationships by conducting analyses of the Credit Union’s programs, member demographics, and member preferences.
- Administration of the marketing department's analytical database
- Work with internal and external resources to define data requirements that enhance analytical capabilities
- Serve as the primary resource for MCIF data requests including running queries and producing reports, generating mailing lists, and measuring results.
- Assist with internal and external survey process: design, deployment, and analysis of surveys; reporting survey results.
- Assist with marketing campaigns and campaign analysis to increase participation with existing members and attract new membership.
- Assist with additional facets of marketing, as necessary. Time will be split approximately 50/50 between analytics and general marketing support.
- Analyze website data using Google Analytics
- Perform copywriting for blogs, social media, and newsletters.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Organizational Development, or related discipline with 1 to 3 years of experience in data analysis or market research preferred.
- Proficiency in Tableau Data Analytics Software
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Effective copy writing and proofreading skills
- Thorough working knowledge of the Microsoft suite of Office products, including database tools such as Microsoft Access
- Relational database experience (such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, etc), including hands-on experience with creating queries, views and triggers.
- Experience with Internet search engines/optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to work with confidential data and ensure integrity of data.
- Demonstrated ability to manage tasks in an effective, accurate and timely manner, and work successfully in a deadline driven environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to all levels of employees including senior management using excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Credit Union or financial services industry experience is a plus.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
