Portland, United States Tipo Restaurant Full time

Tipo is a neighborhood restaurant located in Portland's Back Cove serving Italian inspired dishes. We specialize in Neapolitan style wood fired pizza, hand made pastas and small plates. We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and energetic cook to round out our amazing crew.

**What Tipo is looking for**:

- A team player who has a positive attitude, a sense of humor, and a sense of urgency
- A driven professional that has at least one year of experience as a pizza cook and maintains a desire to learn
- A passionate cook that is constantly trying to improve their knowledge and skill
- Minimum of 1 year of restaurant experience
- Culinary experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Proficiency in food preparation, cooking, and food handling
- Strong knife skills and ability to work efficiently in a kitchen setting
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team-oriented environment

**Job Details**:

- **Set 5 Day Work Week**: Tuesday -Saturday, 40 hours of Regular Pay and 5-10 hours of Overtime
- Two days off scheduled in a row every week.

**Hours**:
1pm to 10pm Tuesday through Saturday (12pm during busy season)
- **Kitchen Love**:2% fee on sales that gets divided amongst the kitchen. This adds approximately an additional $2/hr.
- **50% Contribution to Health Insurance** available after 90 days of employment
- **Dental and Vision Insurance** at group rates after 90 days of employment
- **Employee Mental Wellness Program** 5 free therapy appointments after 90 days of employment
- **401K with up to 4% matching **available after 1 year
- Year-Round Position
- Staff meal provided daily
- Two Staff Parties a year
- Closed on all Major Holidays

**Salary**: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
