Psychiatric Technician

**Job Requirements**:

- Completion of a psychiatric technician program or equivalent academic training in a related field.
- BLS certification
- Relevant work experience in the field of psychiatric care.
- Current, unrestricted license or certification as a psychiatric technician as per state and federal requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide care for patients with mental health issues under the supervision of a psychiatrist or other licensed healthcare provider.
- Assist in the implementation of patient treatment plans by performing delegated tasks.
- Observe and report on the condition of patients, including changes in their behavior and physical condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, including following safety protocols and de-escalation techniques.
- Participate in patient education and support activities.
- Document patient care and progress in medical records accurately and timely.
- Assist with the daily activities of living for patients, such as personal hygiene, meals, and mobility.
- Engage in team meetings, case discussions, and training sessions as required.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
