HII Mission Technologies is currently recruiting for a Maximo Software Development Analyst in support of a large Operations and Maintenance Contract within Mission Technologies. This position is contingent upon contract award and can be worked remotely. As a Systems Analyst specializing in Maximo software, you will be pivotal in enhancing our organization's asset management and maintenance operations. You will leverage your proficiency in Maximo, strong technical writing skills, and analytical mindset to translate user requirements into effective technical solutions. Your role will involve creating and maintaining documentation, collaborating closely with stakeholders and development teams, and driving process improvements through automation and efficiency enhancements.

**Essential Job Responsibilities**

Requirement Gathering and Analysis:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document user requirements related to asset management and maintenance processes.
- Conduct thorough assessments of current business processes to identify areas for improvement and automation.

System Design and Specification:

- Translate user requirements into detailed technical specifications and system designs that align with Maximo software capabilities.
- Ensure proposed solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with organizational goals.

Documentation and Technical Writing:

- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including functional specifications, system workflows, user guides, and training materials.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and project statuses effectively.

Collaboration and Coordination:

- Serve as a liaison between users, stakeholders, and development teams to facilitate clear communication and understanding of requirements.
- Work closely with developers to ensure that solutions meet documented requirements and are implemented correctly.

Process Improvement and Automation:

- Identify opportunities to streamline business processes, reduce manual efforts, and minimize error-prone activities using Maximo software capabilities.
- Make recommendations for automation and efficiency improvements to enhance operational effectiveness.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

- Work with testing teams to ensure thorough testing and validation of system changes, enhancements, and new features to ensure they meet quality standards and user expectations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in collaboration with the development team.

Continuous Learning and Development:

- Stay informed about Maximo software updates, industry best practices, and technological advancements relevant to asset management and maintenance.
- Proactively suggest and implement improvements to optimize the use of Maximo software within the organization.

**Minimum Qualifications**
- 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Information Technology, or a related field, or commensurate experience in business systems or IT management.
- Proven experience and expertise in Maximo software business processes.
- Strong technical writing skills with the ability to create clear and concise documentation.
- Experience translating user requirements into technical specifications and system designs.
- Knowledge of business process analysis and improvement methodologies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in system testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.

**Preferred Requirements**
- 4-5 years of experience in Maximo software or related asset management systems.
- Proficiency in system testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting using Maximo software.
- Familiarity with change management practices and user training.
- Knowledge of data integrity and quality assurance techniques.
